1 Week Down...

...only 3 more weeks to go!!

Yes, I know 3 weeks is a long time, however, it is one less week than when I started this whole process.

I simply MUST look at it that way. Otherwise, I will not make it through. And I will make it through. I will. I know I will. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have said that I am done. I quit. However, my family will not let me do that. Which really is a good thing, I guess.
Today my dad has joined me during the treatment. It's nice just to have someone by your side. Even if all we do is play on our computers or watch reruns of The Cosby Show. Ahh, yes, good times folks.
Thank you Pops for joining me today. I appreciate your support. Thank you for being the strong one through all of this.

So glad to know that one week is done. I'm so sorry that you have to be going through this. I know that you don't want to be the spokesperson for melanoma anymore than Olivia wants to be the spokesperson for prematurity. More questions to ask God someday, I guess. I'm thinking and praying for you always.

Just think...this time next week you'll be saying you are halfway done your treatments. This will all be a bad memory soon. Love the button/banner!

Yeah for you! I hope the rest of your treatments fly by and you can get some normalcy in your life again.

By the way, you've inspired me to go and get my moles/freckles etc. checked ASAP. I am so overdue for an appt with my dermatolgist.

Keep on kicking the big C's arse!

Yay for one week down! I know 3 ahead of you seem daunting and you want to quit, but just think of when this is behind you and you know you've done everything you can to ensure that there are no more of those nasty cells trying to multiply in there. I also like the idea that at this point next week, you will be halfway through.

I'm sorry you're missing your bond with Ella - it sucks to have had that taken away from you. However, in the long run I'm guessing she'd much rather have YOU than the milk!

Huge hugs - and if you want to chat, I am always here. Although I am certainly not going through anything like what you are, I do know what it feels like to have your life put on hold do to something out of your control, and feel like you are missing everything with your child(ren). There are still days when I am in too much pain or too tired to play with Maddie and I am so hard on myself because of my limitations. I promise you, it will get better. And I totally get it.

You are doing great - truly an amazing woman!

I just found your blog today, but just went back and read through your whole cancer journey so far. You are incredible!

You are 1/4 of the way done with this hard treatment. I hope you are able to have a great weekend.
