My Gingerbread Man

I have always wanted to make a Gingerbread House with Kyler, but felt he was just to young.

This year I felt he was old enough to tackle the task of a Gingerbread House. I am so glad that I did this with him. He LOVED it. He had so much fun decorating and eating the house. The joy on his face was priceless!

Posing with his Gingerbread House box.

Look at all these pieces Mom!

I love decorating my house!

The finished product! Look at that smile on his face! He was so proud of himself.

Dear Kyler,
What a neat gingerbread house! Was that fun to make? It really looks good. Did it taste good?
Did you give Ella---and Mom and Dad--a bite.

I have never made one---will you help me make one sometime?

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Christmas Day!

Love ya,

Great-G'pa & Great-G'ma

I got that very same kit last month!!! Look at that! That's the coolest and the smile on his face is awesome!

Now that I've seen someone put it together I'm really looking forward to sharing the experience with my girls.

I tried to make homemade, from scratch gingerbred men. Disaster! I am a decent cook, but TERRIBLE baker. From the box looks much easier!
