Ella and her Babies

Ever since Ella received her first Bitty Baby at 3 months she has been in love with dolls. She sleeps with them, eats with them and loves them to pieces.
It warms my heart to see her care for something so much. Yet, it breaks my heart at the same time. Ella will probably never get to be a big sister. The risk of the cancer coming back or the effects of the chemo on the baby are just to great. It's not worth it. So, unless we adopt, which is always a possibility, Ella will have to settle on just taking care of her baby dolls. Or her cousin Deegan:)

Ella and her babies are just too stinkin' cute!!!

And, if you don't have anymore kids it WILL be okay. =)

one way to look at it -- at least with ella having dolls for siblings there is no fighting, bickering, competing for attention, tattle-telling, hair pulling, toy-stealing, biting each other and jealousy between them!!! i grew up with a brother and sister and all of that ran rampant! :)

Don't you just love having a little girl! They are so much fun and takes me back to when I was a kid and how much I loved my babies. Just precious!

My kids could care less about dolls. The only things they like are blankets. We have a Linus Complex over here.

I love Ella's baby with the polka dot dress and her name. Where did you get it?

It looks like a party at her highchair. I see she has snacks for her guests :-P

She looks so grown up in these pictures, not as babyish.
I loved dolls when I was little. When I was five I asked my Mom for a real baby-I told her I would take care of it and she wouldn't have to. Hope you are doing well!

She is so sweet! I love her Ella doll!

If it helps to make you feel any better, my back is limiting me from having any more children (possibly forever), and MH is my one and only. Some days I'm ok with it, and other like last night (when DH made us go through her toys to "donate" some and make room for new stuff) I had a mini-breakdown.

Hope you're doing great - sorry I haven't been by for a visit in a while!``

Too precious....and remember that adoption is a good thing!! Lots of lots of little ones need loving homes like the one you could provide.

On a different note, I just read through your last few posts and I am in AWE of your sewing machine. Seriously, it looks like you could whip out some serious stuff with that bad boy!!!

Ha!!
