Happy # 2 Ella!

Today my Princess turns the big TWO! Hard to believe, right? However, most people can't believe that you are only two! You act much older. I know, in part, that you have had to grow up a little quicker than most little ones And for that, I am sorry. But, you have taken all in stride. You have adapted so well. Here is a little insight into all the amazing things that you have conquered in your short two years!

---WARNING! Lots of info follows. Don't feel like you have to read it all. I just want to make sure I have it all for her future blogbook. -----

*You walk, run, skip, hop, and jump like a pro.
*You eat anything and everything. But, your favorites are cheese, bananas, waffles, and lasagna.
*You hate sippy cups and prefer to drink out of the big girl cups.
*You like to drink orange juice and water, but will not touch milk.
*You mastered a fork and spoon months ago.
*You can take your clothes off all by yourself.
*And you do the beforementioned all.the.time!!
*You can put your socks, hats, panties, some shirts, and slip on shoes on all by yourself.
*You speak in 5-10 word sentences almost all the time.
*You repeat very well (sometimes too well!) and can say almost everything that we say.
*You have a great throwing arm!
*You can walk up and down the stairs without assistance.
*You can walk on your tiptoes.
*You are almost completely potty trained. You still leave a bit to be desired at bedtime, but you are getting there!
*You love your babies and your silky blankies. You must have them both with you at all times.
*And the tags on clothes. You love the silky feeling between your fingers. It instantly calms you.
*You usually take one nap a day for 2-3 hours.
*You go to bed around 7:30 PM and you wake up around 7:00 AM.
*During naptime you frequently take all your clothes off before going to sleep.
*You like a routine and structure and tend to be a mess if your bedtime routine is thrown off.
*You like to read If You Give A Mouse a Cookie EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT!
*Your favorite toys are your babies, your kitchen, and any fake food.
*Your favorite movies are Little People, Wow Wow Wubzy, and Yo Gabba Gabba.
*You can count to 10
*You know all the basic colors
*You recognize the letters A, B, C, E and K and can say the alphabet with about 80% accuracy.
*You know a circle, heart, star, and flower shape.
*You weigh 26.4 lbs. 44%ile. Kyler weighs 34 lbs (26%ile)
*You are 36 inches tall (94%ile). Kyler is 40.5 inches tall (44%ile)
*You wear 2T-3T in clothes.
*You wear a size 8 or 8.5 in shoes (yes, you have huge feet!).
*You enjoy having your finger nails and toenails painted.
*But, you hate having your hair done.
*You are very sweet and almost always eager to share and help another child. (Unless it's your brother, then that sweet little lady goes out the window!)
*When I kiss you good night and tell you I love you, you say, "I wuv you too, mommy." Melts my heart every single time!

Thank you Ella Grace for the last 2 years. Without you my life would not be complete. I love you more than you can imagine.

Dear Ella and her beautiful Momma,

So many things there are to remember of the last 2 years with Ella---and the last 4 years with your little brother, Kyler.

I remember Ella cleaning out my tupperware cupboard---I wish she would do it again and match the lids with the bowls!! There are so many things we remember--one thing is when she started walking which was so-o-o soon, and she never quit (and a lot of the time she was barefooted!!

I have copied almost all of the items on the blog---it is so much fun to see the things happen.

We are very proud of our 3 little "Greats"----and soon to be 4. We love you all!

Love,
Great-G'ma & Great-G'pa
