Today Kyler had his 3 month appointment with the Pediatric Pulmonologist. The good news is that we don't have to go back for 4 months, the bad news is that he is back up to using the Flovent inhaler twice a day. We had a spell in the middle of September where he had to go back on the Albuterol for about a week, plus use the Flovent twice a day so because of that, plus the winter coming, Dr. Riva thought it would be a good idea to put him on the Flovent twice a day. The hope is that this will help him when he wants to play outside. Last winter playing outside was impossible for him because it was so difficult for him to breath in that cold air. Apparently that is quite normal for kids with asthma, it still isn't any fun for him though. Please keep Kyler in your thoughts and pray that the Flovent twice a day will help him this winter.

This weekend Kyler went to the Wichita Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Snyder. I take him about once a week but I am trying to find ways for him to be away from mommy since he so attached to me. Kyler loves to look at all the animals but his favorites are the giraffes-in fact this is what he asked Grandma and Grandpa Smith for for his birthday. They are still working on arranging that though! He also loves the lions and the penguins.
Kyler was a very good little boy while he was away from mommy so I was very proud of him. When Baby G comes he is going to have a really hard time (and so am I.) I never thought that a 2 year old would end up being my best bud! We are so close it's scary sometimes! I think what freaks Grandma Snyder out is that he is just as picky as I am! Aftere the zoo they went and ate at McDonald's and after he was done eating he cleaned up his mess and even put his high chair away! What an awesome little guy!

Growing, growing, ok now I just feel huge! Here are pics from 5 months, 6 months, and the latest which is 7 months. January seems so close. I remember with Kyler I just couldn't wait from him to arrive (and then he was a week late!!) With Baby G I am anxious to meet her but also would not be upset if she waited until January to make her appearance. I am just a little nervous about having two babies to take care of! I also wonder how Kyler is going to take having a baby girl around. He does seem to do better with girls so that is a good thing. Only time will tell how he is going to feel I guess.
