Tu-Tu Cute

Today I finally finished Ella's Tutu for her 6 month pictures. It ended up being a little longer than I wanted so I had to cut some off, but overall it turned out quite cute. Ella was ok with wearing it, but she REALLY enjoyed eating it! Now I just have to find the perfect bow to match....

Check me out! I am a dancin' queen!

Awwww, such a pretty dancer girl.

Is this not the funniest face EVER! She will hate me for this someday!

If only I could get this to my mouth before mommy pulls it out.

Adult ADD?

Do you think it is possible to develop ADD when you turn 30? Honestly, I have probably been this way for a while but it really hit me today.

Ella was getting fussy so I went to get her some Infants Ibuprofren in the closet. (I have all of our medicine and toiletries in little containers with that persons name on the outside.)

I opened up the closet.

Got into her container, noticed that it needed reorganizing, cleaned it out, threw some things

Then decided that Kyler's needed cleaned out also, did that.

I might as well reorganize everyone's since I'm here.
Ewwww, I haven't done this shelf in awhile. I'll do that one too.

Decided that the towels needed refolding.

Remembered that Ella was crying, oh yeah, I was looking for ibuprofren.

Nope, none in there.

Maybe I should go to the store and get some.

Nah, I'll just give her some Tylenol and hope that helps.

It didn't. Still had to go to the store to get some. I just waited until Daddy got home!

I'm all smiles right now, but this tooth is really giving me fits!

Wordless Wednesday

Happy Almost Wordless Wednesday!
Check out my first tooth! I have another one coming in right next to it. It really hurts. Mama says that I'm awfully grouchy lately. I keep telling her it's that darn tooth. Luckily, mama bought stock in Tylenol and that really seems to help me. Thanks Mom!

Check Out This Post

Ummmm, Dad please divert your eyes. This post is so not for you. Thanks!

Ok, so you all know that I am currently breastfeeding Ella. You also know that I am loving every minute of it. I have to be honest though, the looks that I get when I am nursing her in public are a little irritating. I try to make sure that I don't have to do that. I pump before I leave and make sure I have a bottle to give her should I need to feed her, but honestly, she does not enjoy the bottle as well as she does mommy. Sometimes I just want to wear a sign that says, "If you don't want to hear her scream, let me do my job!" Or something maybe a little more creative, but you get the picture. While I was browsing (stalking) other blogs, I came across this post. This post cracked me up and totally said what I have wanted to say and do. Enjoy!

Welcome To The Family

Is she not the cutest little pregnant chic in the world! I wish I looked that cute when I was 6 months pregnant! SO NOT FAIR!

My sister, Jacki, my soon to be sister-in-law, Cherie, and mommy.

This weekend we hosted a Bridal Shower for my soon to be sister-in-law, Cherie. Since I had to make the long trek to my parents house I decided that the kids and I would just stay for a few days. That way I can really get my moneys worth! The bridal shower turned out great and the kids got to spend some time with their grandparents. Kyler would probably prefer to stay with Grandma and Grandpa rather then come home.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for letting us sleep in your beds, eat your food, and use your air conditioning:) We miss you already!

My Dad finally finished my brother's swingset. My brother is now 24! I'm not sure he will get a lot of use out of it but Kyler sure did enjoy it!

Up, up, up we go. Come on Grandpa. This is going to be fun!
Oh Grandpa, you're just silly!

Hold on tight Little Man!

Happy 5 Months!

I'm what Mama? 5 months old already? That's just crazy!

Today Ella turned 5 months old. One would think she would be sleeping through the night consistently. However, that is not the story! The little stinker sleeps until about 3AM and then she wants to eat, then she will sleep until 6 or 7AM. Honestly, it's not the middle of the night that drives me insane. I actually enjoy the peace and quiet with my baby girl. It's the next morning that kills me! I have never been a morning person and the fact of the matter is, I will never, ever be a morning person. Luckily, Daddy does well in the morning. So I get up and feed her and then when she is ready to party at 4AM he can get up with her. That doesn't work so well when Daddy is gone though! (If you ask Daddy, that doesn't work for him when he is there!)

So, despite Ella G not sleeping through the night as often as I would like, she is rolling like crazy, working on sitting up, (no she can't do it by herself, but we still like to pretend), she jabbers like crazy-I think we are going to have another talker on our hands-I have no idea where they get that from!, when she is on her tummy she uses her little legs to propel herself around in circles or to move forward just a bit so she can get a toy (sometimes her toys, sometimes her brothers), she is reaching her arms out for me to hold her, and when I go to give her kisses she leans in with an open mouth to give me a big ole' smooch.

As far as eating, she eats constantly, however she doesn't eat much at a time. She is taking 4-5 oz in her bottles, however she only has one bottle a day (at nighttime so we can make sure she gets enough to sleep just a bit longer) the rest of the time I am nursing her (and still loving it BTW!). We have kept up with the cereal and it seems to be going pretty well. She seems to enjoy eating (big surprise) and she has definitely figured out the whole swallowing the food thing. She is now a whooping 16 pounds, I'm not sure on her length though.

All in all, I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 5 months with my little baby girl. She has grown to be a very laid back Princess (finally!) and I wouldn't trade one sleepless night for anything!
