9 Months and 3 Days

You are officially a 9 month old crawling, jabbering, screaming, smiling big girl.

I can't believe it and I can't believe all of the things that you can do.

At your 9 month well child visit this week you weighed 18 lbs 14 oz (yes, you have lost some weight) which is the 52%ile. You are 29 inches long which puts you in the 91%ile. You have really thinned out the last few months. The chunkiness is gone. I kind of miss it.

A few days ago you took your first step. You boomed on your bootie right after that first step, but you are going to be walking before I know it. I am sooooo not ready for that.
You recognize who your mommy and daddy are. You don't really care which one of us is holding you, as long as someone is! It makes for very long days sometimes! Thank goodness for my sling!

You enjoy all things loud! If that toy makes noise you love it. Luckily, I'm ok with noise. I can totally see the enjoyment in loud toys!

Happy 9 months old Pretty Princess. I love you more than words can say.

The Love

When I first found out I was pregnant, with Kyler and with Ella, I knew that I would love them.

The amount of love I now feel for them surprises me sometimes, but I knew that they were being born into a very caring and loving home.

When I first found out that my little sister was pregnant, I was shocked. They had been married for quite a while and we weren't sure they wanted babies.

After I got over the shock, I was excited.

I was excited to plan her baby showers.

I was excited to give her all of our baby stuff.

I was excited to watch her grow.

I was excited to hug and kiss on that little baby.

I was excited to watch her love her baby just like I love mine.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend her baby showers because I was so sick. That still bothers me. A big sister is supposed to be there for her little sis. I couldn't be. I apologize for that little sis.

Something that I was not expecting to feel was the love that I feel for my nephew. I haven't seen him since Saturday and I miss him so much. I miss my little sister too.

Jacki and I have always been pretty close, but since getting pregnant that bond has grown. I am glad that I have been there/done that and I am able to offer her advice and help her as she begins this fun and exciting journey into parenthood.

I think she has already discovered that being a mommy is the best job in the world.

Prayer Request

Today my mother-in-law had surgery to remove her gallbladder. Please pray that her recovery goes quickly. Cody's dad just called and she is out of surgery and doing well.

If you remember from this post, I told you that my mom fell and hurt her leg. We found out that she has a torn meniscus and a torn ACL. There is also a spot on her leg that is infected so she can not have surgery until the infection is gone. Please pray that she is able to have surgery soon. She is in a lot of pain.

Almost Wordless Wednesday

These are some pictures that we had taken before I started treatment. I finally got frames for them and got them on the wall. I think it looks fabulous!
After Mom's Day Out Kyler is exhausted, yet he refuses to take a nap!

Sleeping Beauty Ella

This is what Miss Ella does with her bottles, toys, chip clips, etc. She carries everything around like a little doggy!

Kyler and Daddy at Cabela's. The kids (and daddy) loved Cabela's. Mommy could think of a billion other places she would rather have been!

Gorgeous Baby Boy

This weekend we finally got to meet our gorgeous little nephew.

He was absolutely perfect.

All these babies are really making me debate having one more!

Of course, we can't do it now, stupid chemo, but maybe in a couple of years having one more little one running around wouldn't be such a bad thing.

1 More Month

Dear Kyler,

In one more month you will turn 3 years old. I can hardly believe it.

Time has gone way to quickly. You have grown before my eyes.

You are a wonderful little boy. You mean the world to me.

If someone would have told me the love I would feel for you I would have thought they were insane. There is no way I could love someone that much. They weren't insane. I was! I love you more then I ever thought would be possible. You and your little sis mean the world to me.

You have truly developed into a wonderful little man. You are so very caring. You are always there to give mommy a hug and a "miss" and lately you have been wanting to help me do everything.

You enjoy playing with cars, trains, trucks, planes, and puzzles. You like to watch Wonder Pets and Dora. Your favorite movies are Madagascar, Over the Hedge, and Cars. Your favorite books are Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom, Cuckoo Where Are You, and The Tigger Movie.

You are a mama's boy through and through. Do me a favor, don't ever change that. I couldn't handle it:)
