Happy # 2 Ella!

Today my Princess turns the big TWO! Hard to believe, right? However, most people can't believe that you are only two! You act much older. I know, in part, that you have had to grow up a little quicker than most little ones And for that, I am sorry. But, you have taken all in stride. You have adapted so well. Here is a little insight into all the amazing things that you have conquered in your short two years!

---WARNING! Lots of info follows. Don't feel like you have to read it all. I just want to make sure I have it all for her future blogbook. -----

*You walk, run, skip, hop, and jump like a pro.
*You eat anything and everything. But, your favorites are cheese, bananas, waffles, and lasagna.
*You hate sippy cups and prefer to drink out of the big girl cups.

*You are 36 inches tall (94%ile). Kyler is 40.5 inches tall (44%ile)

*Ella will turn 2 tomorrow, there will be a long detailed post about that tomorrow, but for today, enjoy the pictures of my awesome little lady!

Ella, at her 2nd birthday party last week at my folks house

What a beautiful smile!

Oh, how I love this little Princess!

Love that kool-aid mustache:)

She truly is a dream come true!

Unfortunately, she will be driving a real one of these before I know it!
Hope she doesn't drive like her mama:)

She LOVES to play dress up!

And cook in the kitchen!
Thank you Ella for showing me how to find enjoyment in the little things in life. You are a true blessing. You touch everyone you meet. It melts my heart every time I hear someone tell me how sweet and kind you are. Someday you will make a wonderful mother, but for right now, you are making a wonderful daughter. I love you with all my heart and soul.
Happy Birthday Sweetie!

My Resolution

You all know my resolution was to work on saving money. I also made a goal for the month of January to not spend any money outside of neccessities. In other words, I have only been allowed to spend money on food, gas, and bills. And, quite honestly, I have rocked it! I have only messed up once and I spent $2. I bought each of the kids these really cool cups at Walmart. I know I shouldn't have, but I did. Oh, well. They loved them so it was worth the $2 slip up.

I have discovered that I definitely have a money spending problem (I thank my mother for this little trait!). Not spending money has been HARD! I think about it all.the.time. But, I do think this has been good for me. It has really opened my eyes to my spending habits. It's really hard to set up a budget because we have so many medical bills and those vary month to month. But, after this month I should have an idea of what we absolutely must spend each month and from there I can set up a budget for our family. Hopefully, we can get Cody's car and my student loan paid off my the end of 2010. So, in the words of my dear bloggy friend, Christy, 2010 is going to suck, but 2011 will rock:)
