Paintin' With Puddin'

The other day I decided to try something brave with the kids. I made up some pudding, put it in bowls, took the kids outside and told them to start painting each other.

Pretty sure they both thought I was IN.SANE!  You want me to do what mama?  Finally I took a big glob of pudding andd rubbed it on K's tummy. He was NOT amused! At all! Yes, he is just like his mother! Ella, however, really got into it. She loved feeling the pudding and rubbing it all up and down her legs.

Lady A and Tim McGraw

Last night the hubs and I had a date night. We went out to eat and then went to the Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw concert. I'm not a huge concert person. I prefer a quiet night at home, rather than a loud concert, but the hubs really wanted to see Lady A, and I was pretty excited about seeing Tim McGraw :)

The concert was fabulous! Lady A and Tim McGraw are wonderful entertainers! I highly recommend seeing them, if you ever have the opportunity!

My Birthday

For my birthday my parents came down. We went out to eat, took the kids to an adventure park, and came home and enjoyed an Ice Cream cake that was decorated with an owl. I have no idea why my husband chose an owl cake, but apparently he thought it would be quite funny. He's such a goof!

First Pedi

Last weekend my parents came down. So, while the boys hung out at home, the girls went and got pedis. I wasn't planning on bringing Ella, but decided it would be fun at the last minute. She ABSOLUTELY loved it! She sat so nice and quietly while they were painting her toes. She had so much fun and I can't wait to do it again!

New Bears

A "little" girl that I used to babysit when I was in high school (yes, I realize that this actually makes her like 24, but whatever) sent both kids a little bears that are wearing shirts that say "I wear black for my mommy." They are super cute and the kids LOVE them!

                                                           Thank you so much Sarah!
